Well as you can see, its been a very long time since I updated my blog. With this, I’ll have a little recap of what the hell happened in my lawn.
I sold my HD 4770
Yay! The famous, rarest and the best video card ever! BUT WHY DID YOU SELL IT
For some reason I sold it because HD 5770 is on its way. I sold it to a friend of mine so its kinda fair. From 5400, it was sold to 5000. Neat deal!
Although the HD 5770 is priced at 8000, it’s not good. I have to wait till Christmas Break or January I think for the prices to drop.
Away from ESPGL
Seriously, I could do some break on journalism. I’m still on a break but it looks like my break is overdue and it looks like my boss is mad. So I’ll just stay away at ESPGL for the meanwhile until I find myself fit on writing articles for them.
My boss has been really nice to me but them I repay them with this kind of issues. I really feel bad about it. Sorry sundae and sorry to Kimberly too (if you’re reading lol!).
Project MJOLNIR
What the hell exactly MJOLNIR is?
Well first of all, Dad gave me a really mean project. It’s for a Hospital Billing System in Mandaue City District Hospital. I have a group of developers. Now, we’re on day 3. Day 3 is the most hectic I’ve experienced yet. Why? Because integration of MSSQL, PHP and IIS has been very difficult and up to this time we still haven’t fixed the MSSQL driver issue yet. I hope all for the best for this project as this project could really serve well on the Hospital.
With the project running, we actually had to secure a serverbox. What I have right now is MJOLNIR, MJOLNIR is the name of the system and the server. It runs 24/7 so my core developers can do some working overnight if they want to.
Sadly, with the SQL-PHP driver issue, all we get is this:

Well the problem is that phpinfo does not detect MSSQL even with the drivers. I hope someone that ran in here could do give us some help. This is a really serious problem as if we do not fix this, we may not even make it to the middle of the process.
As a little vent on the problem, I wrote this in my facebook shout section:
Gentlemen, we have a really big problem. For in this problem, our knowledge, excellence, fortitude and teamwork is being tested to its very limit. I believe that our chances of succeeding in this project went down significantly but we will not give up. We chose this challenge, it will test us and we will test the challenge to its limit. God Bless Project MJOLNIR and all of the Developers. Project MJOLNIR Day 3 of 30.
Anyways, that’s all for today. I am currently keen on updating this blog in the development of MJOLNIR. So keep posted!
